I have been fortunate in having a Series 5 bought me, I have had problems due to this lovely Machine being stored in the damp conditions, most of which I have dealt with. However...

There is one that puzzles me. On using the Bass control I had get a "Motor Boating" effect, but after switching off and on (after time) this ceased   

I then find it will work ok sometimes and others when put into record the meter responds fine but no recording takes place.

It appears I have a intermittent fault that I can't detect, I have the manual but my concentration is
